The boy was rushed 400 metres down the road to what's believed to be his grandmother's house but couldn't be saved.
The boy was in the back seat of a white Kia Carnival station wagon driving on Arthur Street in Dayton at 3.50pm when he fell onto the road near the intersection of Grandis Road.
