Para Direktor atau Pengarah Persatuan Karya-karya Misi Kepausan Malaysia, Singapura dan Brunei bertemu Pusat Pastoral Keuskupan Sandakan pada Jun 12-14.

Dalam ucapan perasmiannya, Uskup Agung Simon mengatakan bahawa dalam perkembangan sinodal, masih ramai umat Tuhan yang bergantung pada hierarki Gereja untuk memberitahu orang lain bagaimana dapat membangkitkan dunia. PMS bukanlah sebuah agensi untuk pengagihan dana bagi mereka yang memerlukan bantuan sebaliknya menyokong misi penginjilan di Gereja dan untuk semangat misionari di Gereja di kalangan umat Tuhan.
