LORAIN COUNTY , Ohio - A “data security incident” led to the access of Lorain County employees and vendors’ personal information.The release said an investigation showed, “a limited number of files containing personal information relating to our employees and vendors were potentially impacted.
” The personal information includes Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, and routing numbers, according to the release. “To the best of our knowledge, this incident impacted information ONLY contained in the Lorain County Auditor’s Office. Further, we have no evidence that information from any other county department was impacted in this incident,” the release said.
