Police in Dickinson are investigating after a person was found dead Sunday afternoon.

Officers found a person that they said was unresponsive at the scene. EMS arrived and the person was declared to be deceased. Authorities haven’t said if the person was a man or a woman. They also haven’t said if the person was shot.The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office are at the scene investigating as well.Christian Terry covered digital news in Tyler and Wichita Falls before returning to the Houston area where he grew up.
