KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 ― Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd , its suppliers and dealers were on overdrive in the first two months of 2023 , as both production and sales recorded double-digit growth.
In a statement today, the carmaker attributed its performance to improved efficiency in terms of production, better financing facilities for Perodua dealers and greater communication both within the ecosystem as well as with its customers. He noted that demand for Perodua vehicles has also remained healthy so far, hence, the automaker is ramping up production.
“That being said, we apologise to our customers and thank them for their patience. We will try to further improve our production and registrations in the months to come, and continue to improve our operations as well as the timing for deliveries,” he said.
