Perlis replaces Friday prayers with Zohor prayers at home

RAJA of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail has decreed that Friday prayers in the state today be replaced with Zohor prayers at home. Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who is also president of the state Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council, said the state ruler issued the decree following advice from the Health Ministry on Covid-19, as well as “irshad” from the Perlis Fatwa Committee.
