The Perlis Pi Digital program successfully equipped the people of Perlis with essential digital skills, aligning with the state's digitalization efforts.

The Perlis Pi Digital program, held recently at Lake Resort Timah Tasoh, successfully achieved its goal of providing the latest digital knowledge to the people of the state.

Organized by the Department of Motion Graphics Design and Creative Arts of UiTM Puncak Alam in collaboration with DRB-HICOM Auto Solutions (DHAS), the program aligns with the Perlis Digital Plan 2021-2025, which emphasizes the importance of equipping the community with digital skills, deemed crucial for navigating the modern era. Nur Aniza Mohd Lazim, Senior Lecturer at the university and program coordinator, stated that 41 students from the second and third semesters of the Department of Motion Graphics Design and Creative Arts successfully produced digital art content that was both industry-relevant and internationally competitive within a span of three months during the program. The program also attracted a large number of visitors from various segments of society, particularly students, educators, entrepreneurs, and senior citizens, who explored the world of digital art and technology. Participants were introduced to skills in digital illustration, interactive AR/VR content, digital media content, digital storytelling for the Perlis 2025 tourism campaign, holographic dioramas, sound design, and podcast production. The program showcased student projects through an exhibition featuring captivating digital illustrations, interactive AR experiences, and digital storytelling that brought to life the theme 'Enchanting Perlis'. Students also shared their knowledge and passion for digital art. This session highlighted the abilities of the students and fostered a spirit of collaborative learning. Students demonstrated digital illustration techniques and relevant applications. Furthermore, live demonstrations of sound design and podcast setup provided practical skills and knowledge to participants, empowering them to explore new frontiers in digital creativity. Besides the close collaboration with DHAS, the program also received support from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and the Perlis State Secretariat as strategic partners. The organizers expressed their enthusiasm about the overwhelming response and observed the eagerness of the Perlis people to embrace digital literacy. Overall, the Perlis Pi Digital program offered numerous significant benefits to UiTM students, encompassing academic, professional, and personal aspects. The program not only contributed to community development but also played a vital role in fostering high-quality, skilled graduates ready to enter the workforce
