PETALING JAYA: Having a separate national month logo and theme in Perikatan Nasional’s states will further divide the rakyat, says PKR Youth.
It urged Perikatan to withdraw its proposal as it was against the federalism spirit, especially during the Independence month.
"Moreover, the use of Perikatan’s official colour on the logo also reveals the extreme factionalism of the coalition which prioritises its own interest over the interest of the country," the youth wing said in a statement on Sunday . The statement was made after Perikatan Youth unveiled its own National Day logo, saying that the current Madani theme by the Federal Government was not inclusive enough.
