Congratulations. And the great picture of RJ Harvey hugging the ball to his chest as he runs the touchdown in overtime.If I were a political cartoonist, I would create a panel showing Trump dressed as Caesar, with a toga and laurel wreath. Confronting him would be Marjorie Taylor Greene. The caption would read, “Et tu Marjorie?”Gov. Jared Polis’ prolonged silence about the fate of Tina Peters is an affront to all Coloradans. He had no problem speaking proudly about a bridge he wanted that would have defaced our state Capitol. However, he has yet to speak to us about the federal government’s request to have Peters transferred to the federal penal system. While the request has rightly been denied, our governor has said nothing about the importance of preserving adherence to Colorado’s laws and supporting a jury’s verdicts and the sentences from the trial judge. Take your pick of the reasons for his silence. Whichever you select will not excuse his abject failure as Governor.While watching the DU-Minnesota hockey game on TV, it was hard to miss the “Colorado Department of Corrections” sign projected on the glass behind one of the goals in a marketing ploy to recruit prison guards. Taxpayer cost aside, wouldn’t the appeal be more impactful by placing the sign over the penalty box?Among other things RR doesn’t like are data center, which she used her imagination in describing and tying to Big Brother Denver. The internet is complicated, but there’s no causation between the license plate cameras and the CoreSite – or any other local data center. Flock’s data is not stored in Colorado.
