Maran Terlalu mempercayai kenalan yang baru dikenalinya menyebabkan seorang guru wanita ditipu hingga rugi RM93,000.
Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Komersial Pahang, Superintendan Mohd Wazir Mohd Yusof berkata, wanita dari Maran berusia 42 tahun itu mengenali suspek lelaki dipercayai warga Indonesia sejak Februari lalu menerusi media sosial.
“Pada 6 April lalu, mangsa ada menerima mesej WhatsApp daripada suspek kononnya sudah tiba di negara ini, namun mengalami masalah dengan pihak berkuasa. Mohd Wazir berkata, selepas itu mangsa memasukkan lagi duit ke dalam akaun sama beberapa kali sehingga semalam, menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan RM93,000.
