IPOH: A person's attire is not a primary concern when lodging a police report in Perak, says Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri.
The Perak police chief said no police station would deny anyone’s rights to lodge a report even if the attire does not conform to the guidelines.
“I have checked with all the OCPDs that we will not send away anyone due to their attire,” he said when contacted on Friday . The woman, who is from Johor, was in Perak to lodge a report after she was involved in a car accident here.“Perhaps, she was worried since there are similar cases happening in other states at different departments.
