Kota Kinabalu: Saroop Roshi, 25, from Perak, was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2023 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), here, Friday.

The psychology student who defeated 13 other beauties at the grand finals received RM15,000, a crown and a sash.In second place was Natalie Ang from Penang, followed by Shu Wen Chai from Sabah in third place. Elated with the winning, Saroop said it was surreal.
