Pep Guardiola has already told England his stance on taking an international job.
In a statement, the FA announced that the process of appointing Southgate’s successor was already underway, with a manager set to be confirmed as soon as possible. Withand Manchester City, is under contract at the latter club until next summer but may be looking for a new challenge after then.
