Date published: Tuesday 11th April 2023 10:53 -Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admitted his side’s 3-0 victory over Bayern Munich was an “incredible result” but is wary that the second leg of the quarter-final could see them “suffer”.
However, that’s not to say the win over Bayern wasn’t a commanding one. City were as dominant as they have been all season, evidenced by the fact their opponents conceded more goals tonight than they had in the Champions League all campaign before it. The Norwegian’s goal was his 45th in all competitions this term. That means he now holds the record as the Premier League player with most goals in all competitions in a single season ever.
