More than 5,200 people in Scotland, England and Wales are receiving extra financial support for Covid.

Coronavirus is starting to dominate headlines again as two new strains of the respiratory infection have been identified in the UK. Health experts have warned that cases are rising with new figures showing that the number of people with the virus across the UK had reached 10.8 per 100,000, for the week running up to August 14.

A successful claim for PIP or ADP is worth between £26.90 and £172.75 each week in additional financial support and as the benefit is paid every four weeks, this amounts to between £107.60 and £691.00 every payment period.
