Transgender commentator Blaire White says people have been “so kind” to her “in real life” despite the vitriol she receives online for being a controversial figure for the trans community.
“I’ve found that there’s a really stark contrast between the ways in which humans treat each other on the internet and online,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“So even though I’m a very controversial figure online and have plenty of people who hate and plenty of groups that have made me their online target, I really have found that people have been so kind to me in real life. “I feel like I’ve been treated so well just by the world, and I think it’s because I give respect, and therefore I get it.”
