Despite not being in the path of totality, the solar eclipse in Philadelphia brought people outside to witness the celestial event. Crowds gathered in schools, rooftops, and parks to observe the eclipse, with many expressing awe and excitement. The event also fostered a sense of unity, as people from various states paused their activities to look at the sky. The experience was described as overwhelming and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Philadelphia may not have been in the "path of totality", but Monday's solar eclipse did get many people outside. For a couple of hours, crowds outside schools, on rooftops and in local parks were ecstatic over the eclipse.
