Kajian Malaysians Against Pornografi pada 2018 mendedahkan data amat mengejutkan apabila kira-kira 80 peratus kanak-kanak berusia antara 10 hingga 17 tahun telah menonton pornografi secara sengaja.

Tujuan sesuatu teknologi dicipta adalah untuk memudahkan urusan pekerjaan manusia supaya menjadi lebih pantas, cekap dan mudah. Misalnya, secara purata kanak-kanak di Malaysia di dapati menghabiskan masa antara tujuh hingga lapan jam sehari dengan teknologi seperti telefon bimbit, televisyen dan komputer.

Maka, inilah masanya Federasi Konferensi-konferensi para Uskup Katolik Asia membentuk komisi terpisah untuk misi digital dengan tujuan membantu orang muda dan orang dewasa, menggunakan konten digital dengan iman, harapan, dan cinta kasih Kristiani sekaligus menolak pornografi.
