The 82-year-old driver of a Vauxhall Mokka was rushed by ambulance to hospital following the collision at around 1.40pm on Wednesday on Hillhouse Road. He received treatment at Wishaw General Hospital for injuries.
Police Scotland is now appealing for anyone with information about the crash to come forward to help with their investigation.
