Pensioner left seriously injured after hit and run in Stirling city centre

Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to Forth Valley Hospital

A woman was rushed to hospital with a serious leg injury following a hit and run on a road in Stirling city centre.

The driver failed to stop and police believe they then drove off in the direction of Corn Exchange Road.Sergeant Lee Walkingshaw said: “The Golf failed to stop and we believe it drove off in the direction of Corn Exchange Road. Our enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to trace the driver.
