Emergency services raced to Carnegie Leisure Centre on Pilmuir Street in Dunfermline after the alarm was raised at around 6.30am on Tuesday.
Ambulance crews received a report of a 70-year-old man having taken ill at the baths.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.30am on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, we were made aware of a person having taken unwell in Pilmuir Street area of Dunfermline.
