Pensioner dies after horror crash with bus on A9 as police appeal for information
Police are appealing for information after a pensioner died following a fatal crash on the A9 last night.
Emergency services attended and the driver of the Audi, a 73-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Eight passengers from the coach were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness by the Scottish Ambulance Service where they were treated for minor injuries and later released. Sergeant Neil MacDonald said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
