In a 109-page ruling, the court reversed a lower court's decision to grant a novel trial to convicted murderer Lavar Brown, finding that Krasner's office had lied to the court, withheld evidence, and failed to conduct a reasonable investigation. the court found that these actions were part of a pattern in multiple cases,with Krasners office seeking to toss convictions for personal or political reasons rather than legal ones. Since 2018,Krasner's office has conceded relief over 100 times, mostly in murder cases.
