Pennsylvania State Police arrested a 16-year-old and have charged him as an adult in a stabbing in Red Lion, York County.

Police said the stabbing happened Tuesday around 7 p.m. Troopers responded to West Broadway near the intersection of North Charles Street and found a 17-year-old victim who had been stabbed in the torso.'The victim told investigating troopers that the engaged into a physical altercation with 16-year-old Isaac Blinke. During the altercation, Blinke brandished a knife and stabbed him in the torso,' PSP said in a statement.

When troopers took Blinke into custody, they said they found a silver folding knife and a small amount of marijuana on him. State police said after consulting with the York County District Attorney's Office, they decided to charge Blinke as an adult with the following:Aggravated assaultSimple assaultPossession of an instrument of crimeRecklessly endangering another personPossession of a small amount of marijuanaBlinke was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
