A Pennsylvania man was charged with several counts of child pornography possession, prosecutors said.
Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced Tuesday the arrest of Christopher P. McIntosh, 43, of Hamlin. He is facing charges of:10 counts of child pornography possessionMcIntosh was lodged in the Wayne County Correctional Facility, unable to post $250,000 bail.
According to authorities, the investigation started in Oct. 2023, when county detectives received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children concerning the uploading of two files of child pornography. In May 2024, another CyberTipline report was received by Detectives concerning the uploading of thirty-nine images of child pornography. Shortly thereafter, another CyberTipline report was received by Detectives concerning the uploading of three more images of child pornography. Based on the CyberTipline reports, detectives were able to determine that the person responsible for uploading the child pornography was McIntosh, according to the DA's office. Wayne County Detectives served an arrest warrant on McIntosh Tuesday and served a search warrant at his residence.
