“an exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object, class of objects, or situation” — to see which ranked first in each state.

And it’s trypophobia — the fear of clustered patterns of irregular holes — that was found to be the number one fear in the Keystone State. Now, there’s no true way of diagnosing the Keystone State’s trypophobia, but if one was to wager a bet — maybe it has something to do with potholes?
