The site explains via press release how this was done by first seeding a list of cities using resources such as Spotify, then analyzing lyrics for a specific locations metrics. Researchers then counted each time a city was mentioned, and tallies were taken for final results. Philadelphia scored a spot among the top 20 in the 19th overall ranking with 25 individual mentions total within the analyzed data. It appears that Sir Elton John is the one who mentioned the City of Brotherly Love the most in his music with tunes such as “Philadelphia Freedom.”the top 22 “best” such tunes, “Philadelphia Lawyer” by Woody Guthrie and “Streets of Philadelphia” by Bruce Springsteen among them.“NJ Casino can reveal that New York City is the most sung-about U.S.
