Record-setting hail stones fell on an area in Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon.
The Tribune-Review reports
how people in Perrypolis—which is located in Fayette County—were treated to hail stones more than two inches in diameter on Sunday afternoon. This was only the third occasion of which such a meteorological event was recorded in November in Pennsylvania. “It is record-setting in terms of hailstorms,” explains National Weather Service meteorologist, Colton Milcarek, to the news publication.
The same Tribune-Review report continues to detail how the hail stones fell on the area for about six minutes, denting cars and breaking windows. However, it appears no people were hurt during the storm. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
