Responses from the public show they want noise barriers in five locations along the southern section of the Central Susquehanna Valley Thruway.

Updated estimates are being done on the final two contracts for the southern section, according to Matt Beck, a PennDOT plans engineer. It appears likely noise barriers will be built in most if not all of the five areas of the southern section where PennDOT determined they are warranted and feasible, Beck said.
