In light of Tuesday's inclement weather, PennDOT has issued speed restrictions for major highways in South Central Pennsylvania.Interstates 78, 81, 83 and 283Though PennDOT urges drivers to stay off the roads if possible, those needing to travel can check road conditions on PennDOT's"Although PennDOT crews have been treating roadways, the department’s primary goal is to keep roads passable, not completely free of ice and snow.
PennDOT also reminds drivers not to pass plow trucks, and to leave plenty of space when driving near the trucks.
