PennDOT increasing traffic control for Juniata County Fair because of closed bridge

The fair opens in Port Royal on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023.

will still be closed during the fair that runs from Saturday, Sept. 2, through Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023.

Route 22/322 eastbound before the Arch Rock Road exit. This sign will direct fair traffic to take the exit at Arch Rock Road. Route 75 southbound at the Rutters intersection just off the Port Royal exit. This sign will direct fair traffic to use William Penn Highway toward Mifflintown to reach the fairgrounds.

The detour remains in placed. The detour uses Route 3002 , Route 35 and Route 333 before returning to Route 75.
