However, five of PSU’s six losses were by six points or less, so I expect another competitive game from the away team. Michigan State is also looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss. In the Spartans’ most recent game, a last-second touchdown from Minnesota sent it to overtime, where the Golden Gophers would go on to seal a victory. MSU must win out to earn a bowl spot, which could motivate the struggling Spartans. Slowing down the Penn State rushing attack is key for Michigan State. RB Kaytron Allen ranks fourth in Big Ten rushing yards . Allen and RB Nicholas Singleton have combined for 1,099 yards and 20 total touchdowns.
