Penn State's victory over Maryland and Michigan's loss to Ohio State secured their place in the Big Ten Championship, where they will face No. 1 Oregon. This game could determine their seeding in the upcoming College Football Playoff.
The Nittany Lions secured their spot in the conference title game after beating Maryland, 44-7, and getting some help with Michigan upsetting Ohio State on a wild Saturday.
With a loss, Penn State would still be expected to make the CFP.
