While joining ESPN’s College GameDay set, live from Penn State’s Old Main lawn, Franklin was asked what he expected from the White Out environment. And he made a prediction:"This will be the best environment in the history of College Football tonight..Franklin answered other questions from the panel of Rece Davis, Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard and Nick Saban, largely reprising the same comments about Oregon he made in his local press conference earlier in the week. But before he left the brief segment on ESPN’s show, Franklin presented the crew with some gifts. He brought a cake, State College’s iconic “Grilled Stickies” and some ice cream from the famous Berkey Creamery on campus.
