Kudos to DeLuca, for sure. Diaz, the Lions’ aggressive defensive coordinator, made sure Illinois QB Luke Altmyer had little room to breath on Saturday. And that is one quick cornerback group in Blue and White, right? I’m disappointed in the untimely penalties, dropped passes and failing to try and develop Beau Pribula as a passer. The defense holding on to all of the interceptions was incredible and Drew Allar looks very composed, even when he was having a tough day. He doesn’t appear to get frustrated or rushed.
