Keith Bruno spent just over one year as an analyst with the Nittany Lions.

Bruno joined Penn State in January 2024 after one year at Temple and three years at Rutgers. “Bruno has elected to step away from his role as assistant special teams coordinator at this moment despite how he had immersed himself in the Penn State program,” John Brice wrote in FootballScoop’s report. “Sources told FootballScoop that Bruno had thrived in and particularly enjoyed his time in Franklin’s Penn State program, which is coming off a program-best College Football Playoffs Semifinals appearance and a 13-win season.” The Nittany Lions value analyst roles highly, especially after last season’s NCAA rule change that allowed all staffers to coach hands-on in practices. Penn State ranked in the better half of college football last year by allowing just over 7 yards per opponent punt return and 19 yards per kickoff return. However, the Lions generally struggled to find explosion of their own on special teams with just 5.91 yards per punt return and a decent 21.22 yards per kick return.Ex-Penn State defender signs as undrafted free agent with Kansas City ChiefsIf you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.and agree that your clicks, interactions, and personal information may be collected, recorded, and/or stored by us and social media and other third-party partners in accordance with our
