Athletic Director Pat Kraft held a press conference for head coach Tanisha Wright – who is now the seventh head coach in program history.She was a member of the Lady Lions’ basketball team from 2001-2005 --- where she led Penn State to back-to-back Big Ten regular season titles and four NCAA tournament appearances.
The West Mifflin and Pittsburgh-area native played in 134 games for Penn State --- which is the second most games played in program history.Wright says Kraft's vision for Penn State athletics made her want to come back to Happy Valley. I think what we're seeing around Penn State athletics, all the success in all the different programs.
