Both came from familiar backgrounds. Reeder, from New Jersey, originally signed with Iowa State before coach Matt Campbell came to Happy Valley. Lukac, meanwhile, hails from State College Area High School. He is also the son of former Penn State tight end Mike Lukac. Reeder is a big addition to the group. At 6-6 and 210 pounds, he has some growing to do but boasts a projectable frame that can play off the edge. He amassed 50 tackles and eight sacks as a senior at Central Regional. The 247Sports Composite rated Reeder as a three-star prospect and the No. 496 player in the class. He completed an official visit to Penn State over the past weekend. Lukac will join Penn State as a preferred walk-on. In addition to playing both sides of the football with the Little Lions, he also was on the lacrosse team.
