Penn State's whirlwind weekend has turned into another Monday morning commitment.
Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht reacts after defeating West Virginia during an NCAA college football game, Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, in Morgantown, W.Va. The Nittany Lions added 15 transfer portal commitments, all from coach Matt Campbell’s former Iowa State squad.
The big splash came at the most important position on the field, snagging star quarterback Rocco Becht for his final year of eligibility. Penn State also added Becht’s understudy, four-star freshman Alex Manske. In the midst of all that, Penn State also officially announced the hiring of defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn, a splash move for a former letterman.And, of course, things won’t slow any time soon. Penn State added its 16th transfer commitment Monday morning, this time from ex-Cyclone wide receiver Chase Sowell. Missed anything?
