Former Vice President Mike_Pence is publicly maintaining a rosy view of his White House tenure working with ex-President Donald Trump, despite clear signs the pair had a falling out about efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
Pence had nothing but glowing praise for the former president's leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic during a podcast conversation with Ronna McDaniel, chairwoman of the Republican National Committee. The discussion touched on the highs of the former administration, from foreign policy victories to the pandemic response.
He also praised Trump's strength in foreign policy, noting"the Trump-Pence administration was the only administration in the 21st century where Putin and Russia did not even try to change international boundary lines by force." Pence credited the Trump administration with boosting U.S. prosperity and said people regularly approach him in the street to thank him for the administration's positive impact on their lives.
