PENCAPAIAN calon Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia bagi tahun 2019 adalah lebih baik berbanding tahun sebelumnya, dengan Gred Purata Nasional yang dicatatkan bagi 2019 adalah 4.86 berbanding 4.89 pada 2018. Ketua Pengarah Pelajaran Dr Habibah Abdul Rahim berkata, 8,876 calon atau 2.28% calon memperoleh keputusan cemerlang gred A+, A dan A- dalam semua matapelajaran berbanding 8,436 calon atau 2.15% pada 2018.
