A group of male students who vandalised school property to “celebrate” the start of school holidays are believed to be students of a secondary school in South Seberang Perai, Penang.
Penang JPN added that the school authority called up the students and their parents on Saturday to discuss the issue.The education department also urged portals that uploaded the video without censoring the faces of the students to take down the video because it goes against Section 15 of the Children’s Act 2001.
They view the act of vandalism and gangsterism in schools seriously and reminded school administrators at all levels to take steps to curb and prevent such behaviours.What happened? Recently, a group of boys were caught on video destroying classroom chairs, ceiling fan, and even the toilet doors.
