GEORGE TOWN: The state government will dissolve the state legislative assembly on June 28 to pave the way for the state elections, says Chow Kon Yeow.
The Chief Minister said he will present the matter to Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak soon.
Prior to this Chow had said that the state government will dissolve the state legislative assembly during the last two weeks of June. The Election Commission had said that the six states should consider holding the polls simultaneously, adding that holding it together would cost RM450mil.
