President Donald Trump went on a Twitter tirade late Wednesday, tweeting photos of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that were taken during a contentious White House meeting that saw top Democrats eventually walk out on the president.
Trump also reportedly called Gen. James Mattis, his former defense secretary, “the world’s most overrated general” and said he wasn’t “tough enough.” Pelosi told reporters outside the White House that Trump’s behavior was “very sad.” Soon after that, Trump posted a series of photos from the meeting, mockingly asking in one, “Do you think they like me?” and accusing Pelosi herself of having an “unhinged meltdown” in another.— Donald J. — Donald J. Trump October 16, 2019 Pelosi appeared unfazed by Trump’s outburst, and one of the photos quickly appeared on her own Twitter profile page as a badge of honor.
