Pekan Bersatu deputy chief to contest in Chini polls as independent

DEPUTY chief of Bersatu’s Pekan division Tengku Zainul Hisham Tengku Hussin has announced his intention to contest as an independent candidate in the Chini state by-election on July 4. Zainul Hisham, 64, said he will be using the “house” symbol and the manifesto “Becoming the Voice of the People of Chini”, adding he decided to contest after getting feedback from Chini residents.
