Peet’s Coffee said Friday that it is closing its distribution center in east Oakland after a portion of the facility’s roof collapsed in March.

The center is being relocated to Tracy, and its 110 employees are being offered jobs at the new location, said Mary O’Connell, a spokesperson for the company.
Employees who don’t make the move are being offered severance, continued medical benefits and job placement help, she said.
