Last-minute rehearsals are done and the doors are open as Blackpool Tower Circus made its welcome return for another season. The historic circus, which is based inside the iconic seafront tower, returned at its earliest-date ever, welcoming families from February 11.
Audiences can expected a show packed with a range of acts such as The Globe of Speed, which will make its debut and sees a team of stunt motorcyclists riding at up to 60mph in unison inside a 1.5 tonne steel cage. Other performers include French footjuggler Germaine Delbosq, who is a 12th generation circus performer, is joined by her husband Gabriel Carmona, who will dance the Tango while swinging on flaming ropes.
It underwent a huge-scale refurbishment in 2022, with the 1300-capacity venue's ceiling restored to its original state.
