Pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run accident at Blossom Music Center

The accident happened after the Avril Lavigne concert.

SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio - A pedestrian was struck by a car at Blossom Music Center Friday evening after the Avril Lavigne concert.“You’ve got rainy wet conditions, very very dark, and a lot of people,” said Summit County Sheriff Kandy Fatheree. “She was leaving the secured area, she was walking on the side of the road, there were witnesses that were able to call 911, she had a head injury, there was blood.

The pedestrian, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital by Cuyahoga Falls firefighters.As the investigation continues, the sheriff asks for any information from the public.
