A person in their 20s has been rushed to hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car in Leeds. Police have arrested a BMW driver following the horror smash, the force have confirmed.
Following the incident on Kirkstall Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses. The collision occurred in the early hours of this morning shortly before 1am, when the blue BMW travelling out of Leeds hit a pedestrian crossing the road.The driver of the BMW was arrested at the scene in relation to the incident and enquiries remain ongoing. Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
