The crash closed westbound Colfax between Macon and Lima streets shortly after noon. The roadway reopened at about 2:15 p.m.
A pedestrian died Saturday after he was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Macon Street in Aurora, according to police.
, Aurora Police Department spokesman Matt Longshore said.Colorado, Federal boulevards will follow Colfax for Denver bus rapid transit expansion Aurora police said in a social media post at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday that the man struck was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the driver remained on-scene. Longshore said the pedestrian later died and will be identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
